How does it work?

Using DialAbroad MobilePlus you can make 1p/min international calls from a mobile on any UK network. To do this, you purchase credit in advance from us by sending us a text message with the word DialAbroad to 80556. We charge you £5 which appears on your usual mobile bill (or is deducted from pay as you go credit). This gives you £5 to call abroad at our special low rates.

Once you have sent us a text message, access the service by dialing 020 8497 8844 and, at the prompt, entering the full international number you are calling followed by #

We connect your call and deduct the rate per minute for calling your destination from your £5 credit. When you run out of credit, simply text DialAbroad to 80556 for another £5 (or you can sbscribe to the service so you never run out).

Can I call for free?

Our access number is a standard UK landline, so if you have inclusive minutes, then the call to our access number will be free. This means you'll only be paying our low rate for the international part of the call

Will anything show up on my bill ?

Yes – on your bill, you’ll see a £5 charge for the text message you send to purchase credit (send DialAbroad to 80556). The calls to our 020 8497 8844 access number will also be itemised, which is just a regular landline call, so will utilise your inclusive minutes if applicable, otherwise will simply be charged at the same rate as calling London.

I’m still not sure how to make a call. How do I do it?

First, enter text the message DialAbroad to 80556. This costs £5 and we text you back to confirm purchase

To make calls, dial 020 8497 8844, then when you hear the recorded announcement, enter the full international number into your phone (for example, to call the US, 001 then the area code and, finally, the number) followed by #. Do not press green/send button again.

We confirm how many minutes you have remaining to call your destination and conect the call.
