The prospect of a huge monthly bill meant that it never used to be able to have a comfortable chat with friends in the US, and the quality was so bad when using phone cards and the calling over Internet, it was hardly possible to hear the person on the other end...

...so together with the help of a global telecommunications firm and some of likeminded friends, we set up DialAbroad: which changed everything. You can use DialAbroad to pay national rates for international calls. This means it will cost you the same to phone a friend in UK as it will to phone a friend overseas.    Why DialAbroad?

After a few £300 phone bills, we decided that something had to be done. DialAbroad was born in early 2003 and it became our aim to get information about the service out to everyone in the country using the web, flyers, posters, advertising, etc. Please help spread the word by printing out a poster and putting it up in your place of work or, at the very least, e-mailing, texting or calling a couple of friends to tell them about it!
